We went on a little Labor Day hike yesterday up at Alta. Really, we live in an amazingly beautiful place!!
Vera hadn't napped and so it was quite frustrating at times. Also we'd forgotten the backpack. Here she is saying "No! This rock! Stay here!!!" Grrrrr
Talking to her Auntie J on the way up. Jessie, I didn't 'let' her answer the phone. All of a sudden she was talking and we could hear someone on the other side :) You probably didn't catch it, but she was telling you she was talking on two phones:

oh! i just caught your note to me about my convo with V. how funny. yes - we had the nicest little chat. mostly i was asking her questions and she was talking away, counting, skipping 5 ;)
oh - this is totally random, but the two phones made me think of it: did i ever tell you that since that video of vera saying she's "two, almost two" that ben and i say it all the time whenever the number two comes up? 'how many cookies you want?' two!allllmost..two! -- we've even done spin offs - the politician on the tv talking about this-n-such.. true! allllmost..true! ben's t-shirt after i cleaned a stain.. new! allllmost... well, you get it :)
