I think we're getting close...? Lately she'll get out of the bathtub to go pee and yesterday she went twice of her own accord - tearing off her diaper and running to the bathroom yelling "POOOOOTTYYYYYYY!" I think when we get home from our 2 summer trips I'll attempt to implement - to steal Jenny's words - a potty-training boot camp. Any advice?

We put our little friends on every hour on the hour for a month. Stacked books nearby.
One toy all of them loved was a Fisher-Price crank up phonograph. It was made of heavy, sturdy plastic and you could play these records in different colors. It would be age-appropriate for Vera. They'd take it EVERYwhere, even into the bathroom. Frensuvars.
Same as momandpop, although it was every 30 minutes at the beginning. And no diapers, ever, (except for sleeping) until she really got it. Now we can use them if we're going to be somewhere there isn't a bathroom, or only porta-potties. Good luck! Stock up on rags
